The only problem I really had was that there was no description of menu items on Hungry House so I asked them to bring a menu from the restaurant in hopes there would be descriptions for future orders only to find there still weren't any. Because of this one of the things I ordered was not what I was expecting it to be- and I had known it was served that way I would not have ordered it. Otherwise it was up to par with what I was expecting.

Response from hungryhouse:
Hi Alexay, I'm really sorry that your special requests were carried out with your order and that you find River View's menu a little lacking in detail. I have forwarded your comments to the manager of our partner restaurant so that he may work to ensure that special requests are carried out with future orders and also that he may work in partnership with hungryhouse to expand the content of what is on River View's online menu. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal despite this issue and I hope that you had a great evening in. [Customer also emailed] |

Food was slightly better than other places, but not worth the high price. Portions very small and chicken chow mein was weirdly gloppy.

Although River View is a great chinese takeaway serving restaurant quality food-it's small portions really aren't worth the money.

very good as always,All I can say is that you get what you pay for, which justifies the prices.I'd rather spend a lot of money on a meal that satisfies me,than a cheap deal which leaves me dissapointed
