Can I cancel my order?

I made a mistake on my order

To amend your order for any reason, please get in contact with a member of the hungryhouse Customer Care team so that we may assist you.

I accidentally placed a pre-order

If you accidentally ordered for a later time (instead of 'ASAP') by mistake, then as long as the order has not yet been accepted by the restaurant you can cancel using the hungryhouse website. Navigate to the order history page and click the "cancel" option.

If the restaurant has already accepted the order, get in contact with a member of the hungryhouse Customer Care team so they can sort that out for you.

I don't want my food anymore

We understand that sometimes things don't go according to plan. The ETA may be too late, the order could take too long to arrive, or very rarely the system creates a duplicate order. But don't worry, we can help you and if necessary will cancel the order for you.

Get in touch with us as soon as you can, and a member of the hungryhouse team will be able to cancel your order and arrange a refund if you wish. 

All cancelled orders are automatically refunded back to your hungryhouse account and then to your payment provider as per the normal process outlined here

The restaurant cannot fulfil the order

We discourage restaurants from cancelling orders, however if this happens we'll make it easy for you to order again elsewhere. Check your order cancellation email for information on the next steps.
